[QM] Look for it only in books, for it is no more than a dream remembered.
[[A Civilization gone with the wind...]]
------------------------

They all crumble in the end.

- Spinning the threads makes no difference.

Endings come. All endings are chosen.

= How they're woven does not matter.

Knowing the ending? The journey isn't-

- Destroyed? No. It makes it all...

= Worthwhile? No. But it lends a-

- Certain bittersweet finality to the beginning.

Entire civilizations, gone with the wind.

= It changes nothing. It goes on.

- Life. From the beginning. From Birth-

= Through the entire process. Straight through-

To Death. I understand, Sisters. Yet...

= One can't help but wonder if-

- They know it can still change.

Is it our place to tell?

- How could we not? Who else?

= We cannot. It isn't our place.

Free will can still dictate endings.

- Even those of entire, magnificent, civilizations.

Would they be different, you think?

= You mean, if they truly knew?

- Their tiny beginnings would not change.

= The threads would weave no different.

I suspect it would end the same.

- I'd like to think they'd have-

Learned? From one to the next...

= Ever the cynic. Perhaps one day...

They'll learn. Just not anytime soon.

- We'll just do what we do.

= It is what we do best.

Spin, Weave Cut? Confound, Mystify, Annoy?

- Either. Both. Together, without meaning to.

= And still civilizations will fall, Sisters.

We cannot meddle with free will.

- Or do more than Fate allows.

= And therein, Sister, lies the key.
